Stage 04 · The factory floor

Production Floor

Every batch on the floor, step by step, gram by gram.

Production Floor turns a scaled formula into a batch: raw material issue, each process step with its operator and time, in-process checks, yield and packing. The batch manufacturing record builds itself as the work happens.

What it does

Batch issue, process steps, yields, packing and labels.

01

Batch issue

Raw materials are issued lot by lot against the scaled formula. Weighments are recorded with the person who weighed them.

02

Process steps

Cleaning, drying, milling, sieving, kadha boiling, fermentation, tablet pressing, coating and filling, each with equipment, operator and time.

03

In-process checks

Temperature, boil-down, pH, tablet weight, hardness and fill weight recorded at the step where they are taken.

04

Yield tracking

Output is recorded at each step so you can see where material is lost, not just the final number.

05

Packing and labels

Pack the batch into bottles, jars or cartons and print labels with batch number, manufacturing date and expiry date.

06

Long processes

Asava and arishta batches that ferment for weeks stay open with their dates, readings and vessel numbers.

How the work moves

Step by step, the way your team already works.

  1. 1

    Plan

Choose formula, batch size and date. Qualifying lots are reserved.

  2. 2

    Issue

Store issues lots in FIFO order, weighed and signed.

  3. 3

    Process

Each step is recorded with equipment, operator, readings and output.

  4. 4

    Pack

Finished goods are packed and labelled, then wait in quarantine for QC release.
